Basic Qualifications: Must possess five or more years combined experience performing and supervising the construction and/or maintenance activities associated with the electric distribution system.

Typical Responsibilities: This position will report to local area Manager and is directly responsible for supervising bargaining unit Distribution Apparatus Foremen. Typical responsibilities will include: Coordinating work with crews in the planning, scheduling, and performance of routine and special tests on electrical apparatus; Communicating written and oral test results to Company personnel and/or customers with recommendations for improvement to service, equipment or facilities; Developing methods, procedures, and techniques used to obtain maximum efficiency of electrical distribution equipment; Reviewing and maintaining technical records and information related to distribution apparatus equipment and will be responsible for developing and providing training to new apparatus technicians and existing personnel on new equipment and/or with procedures; Utilizing performance management techniques to encourage career development or administering discipline in conjunction with labor relations practices; and performing other duties and responsibilities as required.

Typical Responsibilities: This position will serve as the lead technical contact for SONGS' Occupational Safety and Health programs. Responsible for the anticipation, recognition, evaluation, prevention, and control of environmental factors or stresses arising in or from the workplace which may cause sickness, impaired health and well being, or significant discomfort among workers; Typical responsibilities include: providing consulting services associated with industrial hygiene; performing in-depth analyses, developing recommendations, and providing consulting to address complex customer and/or Company problems/issues that lack precedent and require advanced technical knowledge to resolve; serving as a technical lead for the OS&H staff and leading specialized technical projects; provides technical direction and leadership with specialized skills in the industrial hygiene field; implementing and/or leading the implementation of specialized technical projects; serving in a technical supervisory role during scheduled refueling outages and oversees contractors; providing consultative services, technical analysis, and makes recommendations to all levels of management for compliance with health and safety regulations, industrial hygiene, and for the protection of personnel; negotiating with management to obtain resources and finalize implementation schedules; Assisting department management in the development and implementation of safety strategies to achieve safety goals; providing technical expertise to standards-making committees at both the state and federal levels; performing inspections of Company facilities, work environments, procedures and processes, and equipment for compliance with safety standards and requirements; providing consultation services and staff assistance to department management, safety teams, and site safety personnel; establishing interpretations of Company and governmental rules and regulations in matters of occupational safety and health; advising on the appropriate use and limitations of safety equipment and initiates corrective actions; Approving the type of safety and/or environmental industrial hygiene equipment to be purchased; participating in more serious industrial accident investigations by providing interpretation of rules and regulations, determining root causes, and recommending solutions; representing the Company at hearings on proposed safety regulations and legislation and during the course of investigations or inspections of Company facilities. developing recommendations, supportive statements, and prepares the Company's response in the event a citation is issued; developing and/or conducts safety and/or environmental training programs, informational bulletins, safety rules, and safety manual revisions; Demonstrating a high visibility and in the field presence to all levels within the division as a SONGS industrial hygiene safety representative; participating in SONGS and Corporate safety meetings on a regular basis; other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Typical Responsibilities: The successful candidate will inspect electrical distribution capital and maintenance work and special projects as a member of the regional Quality Control (QC) Division within Transmission and Distribution Business Unit (TDBU). Typical responsibilities include: conducting field inspections by driving to locations throughout the territory, inspecting completed construction work, overhead lines and equipment, taking photographs, and logging field data; preparing for routing and field inspections by programming GPS unit and driving to locations including printing maps and routing pole locations; capturing and entering findings into databases; creating and reporting packages from completed inspection work; processing photos for reports; staying current with QC processes by participating in technical, safety, and program development training; and performing additional duties as assigned.
