Typical Responsibilities: As a Journeyman Lineman, your mission will be to build, operate and maintain overhead and underground electric distribution and/or transmission systems, with a wide range of voltage, including: overhead pole lines, underground cabling, equipment and apparatus, metering, wire stringing, insulator washing, transformation and secondary services.

Compensation: Currently, qualified Journeyman Lineman start at $40.42 per hour and enjoy a 3% increase after 6 months, taking the hourly rate to about $41.60. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: This academic staff position will assist staff in the Publications Unit at the Environmental Resources Center in the design and production of web sites, printed publications and other educational materials.
