Typical Responsibilities: The successful candidate will support the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS) site interface with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) personnel at the site, NRC Region IV offices in Arlington Texas, and the NRC headquarters in Washington, DC. This individual will lead site employees to identify and propose the resolution of complex issues that NRC inspectors have identified. The successful candidate will be responsible for controlling, modifying, and interpreting SONGS operating licenses and licensing based documents. This individual will participate in the site preparation for NRC inspections and related activities, including working with the NRC to obtain information requested, reviewing information requested by NRC to identify potential issues, coordinating inspection logistics and schedules, and identifying key Southern California Edison (SCE) personnel needed for inspections.
