The National Credit Union Administration is the independent federal agency that regulates, charters and supervises federal credit unions. NCUA, 
with the backing of the full faith and credit of the U.S. government, manages the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund, insuring the deposits of 
more than 82 million account holders in all federal credit unions and the overwhelming majority of state-chartered credit unions.

The National Credit Union Administration is seeking resumes for the position of Field Credit Union Examiner for various locations in the Northeast
This is a US federal government hire under a two year probationary period
.

Job duties include but are not limited to: conducting credit union examinations; working with employees and management officials of credit unions; analyzing 
credit union operations; and preparing reports and giving oral presentations of exam findings, conclusions and recommendations to credit union leadership.

As a credit union examiner responsible for credit unions in a specific geographic territory, your work involves overnight travel and driving both during 
the day and at night. Some duty locations may require extensive overnight travel.

The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 6 semester hours of coursework in Accounting and 3 semester hours in Introductory Auditing. 
Prior experience performing exam/auditing operations for a financial institution; and experience reviewing internal controls for a business 
or other organization to determine risk exposure would be a plus.
